What is tyranny and totalitarianism? What is so-called right-wing extremism? Is it fascism, like dick claims?
How can totalitarian government, undeniably left-wing, total government control, communism, for example, and totalitarian fascist rule be on opposite ends when the other end, everyone knows, is anarchy?
How is it that fascism, just one element removed from totalitarian rule is magically on opposite ends?
How can two things, nearly absolutely the same, be opposites?
The history of the scale goes back to the parliaments of Europe, that the founding fathers studied, along with many things including the ancient Lycaean States (Greek City States). Do you remember learning about Athens and Sparta?

In this book you find 87 essays written by John Jay, Alexander Hamilton and James Madison.
They were there, throwing off unrepresentative government: totalitarian monarchy centered in Britain. They were there, involved in the war of words and protesting: writing things they learned from their studies. They were looking for ways to set up fair and lasting government. Their letters were published and read throughout the colonies.
This is the origination of left-wing and right-wing. The delineation is that furthest left is totalitarianism, by any name while furthest right was anarchy. Republican and democrat did not exist.
Right next to totalitarianism is fascism with one ruler, like totalitarian/monarchism. There was also no such thing as communism, socialism or marxism. The founding fathers had discovered republicanism from the Greeks and Romans
The difference is that fascism allows business to appear to work independent of government control. Th term is working with or working along side.
A good example of fascism today is Zuckerberg of Facebook working with deep state, politics-as-usual, non-governmental organizations writing, making and enforcing laws without the people’s representation.
Fascism and communism are so closely related, they cannot be distinguished except by someone who knows this distinction I have described.
So, dick is lying to your face.
Dick actually gave a clue to his/her/its lie by writing that Japanese monarchism was fascist. Nope. Japan had an Emperor, a monarch. Closer to fascism on the left and communism/bolshevism also on the extreme left.
